I get asked frequently about whether juicing is actually worth the time and money it takes. The short answer is yes — juicing can be a great way to pack in the nutrients! But make sure that you are also consuming other “real” foods, especially protein, when you juice.
I stopped in to the TV station at WCCO to share some juicing tips.
Here’s a quick juice recipe from my visit:
4 large carrots
4 large kale leaves
Thumb-sized chunk of raw ginger
Squeeze of lemon juice
