Spring Break is almost here. If you’re thinking about how to drop a few pounds, don’t do it unhealthily! Here are a few options for ways to lose weight and stay healthy.
- Go for volume. Eat nutrient-rich foods so that you stay full longer. Try a hearty soup, which has the nutrients you need to feel full but has fewer calories.
- Choose healthier foods. If you do need a snack, try cut-up fruit. Or, if you’re hankering for something fatty, try an avocado — it has monosaturated fat, which is good for blood levels.
- Eat fewer grain-based carbs. If you’re at a bagel shop, ask for a “skinny bagel” and they’ll cut the middle fluff out. Or, eat the heel of a loaf of bread instead of the middle.
