When you’re out in the summer heat, hydration is important! But do you really need the 8-10 glasses of water that you hear about? Maybe not… I visited the local FOX studio to talk hydration.

To figure out how many ounces of water to drink, divide your body weight (in pounds) by two. So…

Weight (lbs) x 1/2 = ounces of water to drink daily

200 lbs x 1/2 = drink 100 ounces of water
